Yesterday, Ryan and I visited the Roma Street Parklands, an oasis in the heart of the Brisbane CBD (Central Business District). Even though we were only a few feet from the hustle and bustle of the city center, it seemed like we were miles away. The Parkland's spectacular subtropical plant displays are spread over 40 acres. Visitors walk a web of pathways and boardwalks traversing cascading waterways, a misty fern grove, rocky peninsulas, a lakeside meadow and gardens bursting with color.
