and....ACTION!!

Our friend, Aaron, is a camera operator for a few Aussie Travel TV Shows. Yesterday afternoon, he and Patty came over for a BBQ. While they were here, Aaron asked if a host from one of the shows could come over and film a short segment for the TV show Queensland Weekender. The host was going to act as if our apartment was his apartment. Ironically, the day before we had talked about how someday we'd like to shadow Aaron on one of his shoots.

A little while later, Chris, the host, showed up to film the segment. He and Aaron are also friends, so their work seemed more like play . There was a lot of laughing and joking around. Not to mention some typical male razzing.

All in all, it was a fun afternoon. Ryan and I were fans of the show Queensland Weekender before we Patty and Aaron. It's a show that's filled with ideas for weekend adventures in Queensland. Who wouldn't like that? Now, we have another reason to watch the show. We'll be looking for the segment where Chris is talking on his mobile, making a cappuccino and checking out a website. Because our apartment is the scene of that segment. How cool is that?
